My 78-year old father moved into Antoria Assisted Living on 1/1/23 shortly after being diagnosed with vascular dementia. Six months previous to this, he resided at a bigger assisted living facility in Tarzana with 90+ other residents. Transferring dad to Antoria from the bigger ALF was one of the best decisions dad and our family has ever made in terms of his healthcare, living situation, and financial management. Dad has A LOT of health conditions which require caregivers to give him much more personalized attention and assistance with Activities of Daily Living than he was receiving at his former ALF. There are only a handful of residents at Antoria but each has a wide array of different needs. I often visit dad and have observed that every resident at Antoria gets loving assistance from caregivers tailored to individual resident needs. The caregivers work tirelessly to keep dad and the other residents happy, healthy, comfortable, safe and very well fed. Dad, his friends and family (including multiple extended family members) have found Antoria to be an impeccably clean, beautiful, and serene home where dad enjoys spending his Golden Years despite all his struggles with multiple ailments. If you are hoping to find an assisted living facility that is more like a home than a facility, look no further than Antoria…you won’t regret it!

My mother is currently residing at Antoria Assisted Living of Tarzana and we could not be happier! The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. The moment I walked through the door, I had a great feeling about Antoria. I had been to quite a few facilities and they felt cold, a little impersonal and a bit like a hospital. Antoria's house feels warm and inviting and is always clean whenever I go to visit (many times they don't know I'm coming). I also love that they limit the number of residents so it feels like a home and not a facility. This also allows the caregivers (who are wonderful) to spend more time with each resident if necessary. I had taken care of my mother for six years and it unfortunately got to the point where I knew I couldn't give her the 24/7 care she needed. The caregivers and the administrator, Marycel have given my mother a place where all of her needs are taken care of, she feels at home, respected and safe and they've given me peace of mind. Not to mention my mother absolutely loves the food!

Marycell, Your facility saved my mother from succumbing to her dementia. Joyce resided at another facility prior to yours- it was like a country club- all fluff. She was left alone a lot to her own devices and took supplements that she should not have been taking that made her very sick and she wound up in the hospital and the physician thought that she had cancer. Lucky, she did not- she was not properly monitored and thus poisoned herself with excessive use of supplements. We moved her over to your facility and then her overall health improved vastly despite of her dementia. Your staff is very attentive and gives her the care and attention that she needs. You also keep her mind occupied with drawing and games. I am grateful. I can sleep at night and not worry about my mother as she is in good hands at your facility. Bless you and your staff!
